[/size][/right] Lightning Generation - Second nature to Billy, and he can call up lightning without using verbal components. He simply has to imagine the lightning coming from him and it will. Due to their magical nature they can hit even those immune to electrical attacks. Billy however can find it hard to direct this ability often using other sources to increase his accuracy such as a staff.
Flight/Levitation - Much like his lightning, flight has become an ability that requires little concentration to use. Billy can call up the winds to lift him into the air and carry him along at a maximum of roughly one hundred miles per hour though he rarely travels at such a speed. He can also carry another person, as long as it's someone that he can physically lift reducing his capable speed and enhancing the concentration needed to remain in the air.
Spellcasting - Billy's mutant abilities are linked, much like his mothers, to magic energy being a natural born mage his powers are typically stronger than most users. That said the male is unable to cast a spell if he himself cannot hear what he is saying thus could be powerless if deafened. He must also want the spell to happen if without his heart he doesn't want the effect to work then it will not no matter how much he tries. With overuse of his powers comes extreme tiredness draining his energy both mentally and physically.
Healing - The male can accelerate the natural healing process within a body as long as it can be naturally healed. He many not regret limbs. Cuts and bruises vanish within moments while breaks take a day or two. The more serious the wound, the longer it takes. This ability is most useful outside of battle rather than in it.
Teleportation - Billy is able to create teleportation discs to carry himself and others across the distances instantly. These discs are roughly fifteen feet across only being used to currently travel short distances his control not at all advanced with the skill.
Shield Generation - He can create domes of protective force to protect himself and others from physical and energy damage. These shields can however be broken only holding up to five tones of damage which Wiccan can feel until he releases the shield.
Tracking - Being able to track the location of people he knows through his spellcasting is one of his most useful powers. While he may not know just where they are, he will find out a direction to go in. Knowing the desired person well makes the spell easier to cast.
Force Blasts - When not using his lightning, Billy can level bolts of force upon his enemies similar to telekinetic blasts, they are invisible but strong. Being pure magic in origin he must verbally summon them warning his target of his attack.
Illusions - Currently his illusions can only hold two senses at a time and those with enhanced senses will see through them easily. His concentration must be one hundred percent being able to see the target at all times or the spell will end. It can be extremely taxing.
Sorcery - His sorcery, much like that of his mother, is much more broad and encompassing. However, to do things not listed above, the powers are much more taxing and can cause more stress on his mind and body as he channels the energies through himself. As his studies progress, sorcery will potentially become easier for him.
personality
[/size][/right] Billy is one of the more fanboyish of the fanboy squad worshiping the Avengers and many other superheroes of the world, speaking to them with respect and sometimes even awe. Often when the team is facing off against a hero or villain they haven't met before, Billy is the one to recognize the person and in some cases state their significance to a degree that ought to be worrying. That said his knowledge has been inmeasurable at times saving the teams life just by knowing a small peice of information on their target. His sheikdom is one of the things that gets him really enthusiastic and passionate about though throughout the years this side of him has calmed down more creating a more calmer mature male.
Unlike most males he has met Billy is a sensitive soul not afraid of showing his emotion to anyone. If he is upset he cries. Happy he laughs. He doesn't hide who he is. Aside this he is the first to offer a companionable hand on someone's shoulder or an encouraging word, and it doesn't take much invitation for him to try and get close to someone. He's deeply affectionate for those close to him willing to do whatever it takes to protect his teammates and the people he cares about. He's not afraid to use his rather extensive powers to keep them safe and alive when he's around. One of him most impressive feats stopping a nuclear explosion and putting twenty people in a coma with a single thought when Teddy is injured by one of them.
Flipping the board however he often says the first thing that comes to his head no matter whom he could hurt. He's quick to backpedal, of course, but it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't always think about what he's saying before he says it. But he's not a pushover either. He'll use logic and clever thinking to avoid a conflict if it's possible if not then he tends to head into conflict fist first. He also has a pretty lousy temper and a tendency to rage when he hears something he really doesn't want to hear, only a few people being able to snap him out of it. He's also pretty sarcastic, making the occasional snippy commentary even at the most unfitting of times.
He can be really careless about self-preservation sometimes; he's impatient with the habit to often charge off into danger regardless of the potential consequences such as injury, danger, capture, a lecture. He does have tremendous faith in his friends/teammates, so even while rushing into the aforementioned danger he still has plenty of confidence that they'd come and rescue him if he got in over his head. This faith is one of Wiccan's key aspects of his personality. In his mind, "good guys" can do terrible things and still redeem themselves, but it's harder to convince him that "bad guys" can be good such as Doom's love for his mother.
One of the most solid things to note about Billy is that there's no pretense about him, no faking, no lies. He says what's on his mind, whenever it comes to mind, regardless of who he's talking to. He speaks freely with his friends, his parents, his heroes no matter whose company he's in, he is himself, and they're stuck with his true self whether they like it or not. He's not totally callous or anything when he realizes he's done wrong, especially if he belatedly notices that he's hurt someone.
In short Billy is a typical guy he's sweet, sensitive, cheeky, and has a great sense of humour. Sometimes he can be overly serious, but in general it's a situational thing his personality reflected by the type of battles he finds himself in.
history
[/size][/right] Being raised in a normal home in New York with his loving parents and two brothers Billy had the average problems for a gay teenager. Kaplan never had a problem being different than other people. It was other people that had a problem with him. In school, he met a tremendous amount of hate and fear because he was different. Billy's issues escalated as he grew older and entered high school where his differences became the source of endless torment and violence leading up to a conflict with one Jogn Kessler. After revieving a beating from the male Billy rested at his favorite location within the city, The Avengers Mansion. This marked his first meeting with a woman jogger whom he soon found out was the Scarlet Witch and years later his mother.
She told him to face up to his bully telling him everyone held a gift. That said Billy did not take Scarlet Witch's advice. He avoided the male at all costs until finding that Kessler had found a new victim to torment. His heart tore unable to let him just let another soul get destroyed thus he intervened getting attacked in the process first activating his powers. Powers that he soon lost control of causing him to electrocute Kessler, nearly killing him. Shocked and afraid at what he had done, Billy ran back to the Avengers Mansion to talk with the Witch but she was nowhere to be found instead finding the hero known as Iron lad.
Iron Lad had used a system he found in the remains of the Vision which helped locate alternative members for the Avengers for the next generation. Iron Lad had found Teddy Antman ( Hulkling) and Elijah Bradley ( Patriot) with Billy being the third member of the team. All three agreed to help him, despite their lack of experience starting of by helping the community such as saving those from house fires. However, the act only attracted unwanted press J. Jonah Jameson deciding to put Jessica Jones on the assignment of finding out who they were. Some time later the group were confronted by Iron Man, Captain America, and Jessica Jones who disapproved of their unsanctioned vigilantism.
After the events of Iron Lad, Captain America ordered the Young Avengers to disband. Instead, the Young Avengers continued to function as a team, now using Kate Bishop's resources to support them the female also giving them new costumes who now operated out of an old abandoned warehouse owned by her family. She and Cassie also convinced Billy to change his alias from "Asgardian" to "Wiccan" in acknowledgment of his new magical powers .
The team continued to fight crime on the streets eventually coming face to face with the Super-Skrull who revealed Hulklings true parentage kidnapping him in the process. During his rescue Wiccan discovered that he and the newest recruit, a youth with super speed by the name of Tommy Shepard, were identical in appearance. The team confronted the Super-Skrull and freed Hulkling learning his father was that of Kree origin making him a unique half breed of the two races. During this time, the Super-Skrull stated his belief that Billy and Tommy's similarities in appearance and powers indicated that they were the twin sons of the Scarlet Witch and the Vision. The Super-Skrull noted that Wiccan seemed to have inherited the Scarlet Witch's magical and reality-warping abilities while Tommy has those of her twin brother. A story that Vision later confirmed.
Wiccan continued as a member of the Young Avengers until the Superhero Registration Act forced the team to go underground. At one point Hulkling and Wiccan were captured by agents of a secret alien-observation base called The Cube being rescued by their team mates barely making it out alive. Wiccan and the others were eventually rescued by their teammates and continue avoiding registration. At least for now.

Jean felt the male finally respond to her voice and using her mind like a lasso she gripped hold on the young mutant pulling with all the mental energy that remained within her body. Eventually she began to see the frail outline of the boys figure yet unlike the younger version upon the table the boy before her was much more mature. The first features that caught her eyes were the long tail creeping from his back and the cat like ears produced upon his head. The telepath frowned at the image a faint jab of recognition sparking within her brain cells. The mutant she knew him, he was a student in her class. His name. Kyle. He was a feral mutant and strangely enough his past still reminded her strongly of another feral mutant that she herself had probed mentally before.
She was surprised at how weak she felt feeling the force of the phoenix scream from inside her own body like it knew that her host was weakened. Thankfully her pain had stopped allowing Grey to start to put the entity back within it's cage. Focusing upon the astral form she allowed her power to fall slightly relaxing her arms to her side though she held tightly to her chest wanted to feel some kind of comfort after her ordeal. She wished that Scott was with her. Her heart however also went out to that of the young mutant, he was there on his own having gone through the torment of his own nightmares yet again. Jean was scared at how many times Kyle had found himself there. To be honest she didn't think she could bear it if she knew. "I'm sorry" she gasped ignoring the males question to take a second to close her tear glazed eyes "I used my powers to create an astral form. An copy of yourself, of your mind. You shouldn't feel anymore pain now that your real body has separated from this memory. I didn't mean to invade your mind but I couldn't leave once I felt your pain"
Miss Grey could feel the fear erupt from Kyle like a volcano obviously experiencing the emotion as he looked upon his own body the older male staring with such intent that Phoenix doubted even she would of drawn his attention. She lifted her palms against the wall pushing with all her might to hold herself in the air. Quickly enough she found herself collapsing back to the ground. Gritting her teeth she rose her arms again. She wasn't weak. Not anymore. Kyle needed her.
Eventually the female managed to reach her feet a small stream of flames crawling across her arms causing a gentle glow around the room. The memory seeming to have been frozen as the astral form was pulled from the occupying dreamer. Jean was sure that the memory would continue in moments though part of her felt nervous now that the boy was with her. Would he really want to experience the horrendous things that happened to his younger form? She wasn't so sure.
Noticing the silence between them could of been sliced with Wolverine's claws the empathic teacher decided to make her way to the boy limping absentmindedly every few minutes. Reaching his fragile side her lips parted gentle words coming from them a faint tone of despair and hurt wrapped within them. "What happened to you Kyle? Did they do this to you? They made you a mutant?"
